Savior King

As February comes to a close and we wrap up our month-long series about Jesus as King, Mark Heger gives a sermon about Jesus as the Savior King.  In preparation for this sermon Mark went back to one of the most basic bible verses about salvation with the hope of using it as a starting point.  But the more he looked at it, dissected it, and studied the audience, the environment and the surronding culture, the more he was able to appreciate this seemingly simple verse for something that is far beyond simple.  In this sermon Mark dissects John 3:16, and discusses how this well known bible verse holds so much more significance than we give it credit for.  Our hope is that everyone would leave with a better understanding of John 3:16, and a fuller appreciation of Jesus the Savior King.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him might not perish but have eternal life.
— John 3:16
